Terms And Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions refer to the purchase of the Self Intelligence Community Membership (“Member” and the “Membership”) with Chris Knight (“I”) – ABN: 35 693 990 843. The terms ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to the person whose name is listed on the registration form. Contact [email protected] or 0401 002 930 if you have questions.

1. Accepting These Terms

You agree that the Membership Registration Form, together with these Terms and Conditions, forms a contract between you and Chris Knight.

2. Membership Prerequisite 

2.1 You can become a Member the month after your course finishes. E.g. If your course finished in November, you can become a member from the 1st of December. 

2.2. This Membership is not generally offered to people who have not enrolled in a Self Intelligence Course however, Chris Knight reserves the right to invite people who have not attended the Self Intelligence Course.  

2.3 You are eligible to become a Member before you have completed the Self Intelligence Course work i.e modules and quizzes. 

2.4 You are eligible to become a Member if you are still on a payment plan for the Self Intelligence Course.

3. Payment 

3.1 The full cost of Membership is $249 per month, per person. 

3.2 Payments are made in advance on the first day of each month.

3.3 Payments made in advance are non-refundable (see Refunds and Cancellations section 8)

4. Lifetime Special Offer 

4.1 To be eligible for the lifetime special offer you must enrol and complete the direct debit request within the timeframe specified on the enrolment form.

4.2 1 Person currently $99 per month.

4.3 Household currently $249 per month. A ‘Household', as described in this agreement, constitutes 3 or more people living at the same residence who have all individually enrolled and paid for a Self Intelligence Course (including those on payment plans). The people living in the same household don’t have to be family members or married to be eligible but they must be living at the same residential address. 

4.4 Members must register and complete the direct debit request within the timeframe specified on the enrolment form unless a Household membership is formed (see 4.5). 

4.5 Household Members are eligible to pay the special price once 3 or more people of that household have completed a Self Intelligence Course, no time requirement. 

4.6 Lifetime Special offer cessation: The special offer will cease if an individual or household cancels the membership. An individual or household will be eligible again for the special offer after each individual in that household pays the full price of $249 for 3 consecutive months. 

4.7 If a Household Membership is cancelled but an individual/s wants to continue, they will be eligible for the special offer of $99 per month providing they register and complete the Pay Advantage direct debit request within 1 month of the household membership cancellation.

4.8 Lifetime Special offer price increase: The price of the Lifetime Special Offer is subject to a consumer price index (CPI) increases that occur with inflation over time. For example, from 2022 to 2023 the special offer price 'may' increase from $99 to $105 per month. Or in 5 years time the special offer may increase to align with CPI inflation. You will be notified of any increases with ample time to cancel your membership (if required) or continue with the new special offer price, which will remain at a significant reduction on the full price (which is also subject to CPI increase). 

5. Auto-billing Payment Method

5.1 Membership payments are auto-billed through Payments are made one month in advance via bank direct debit on the 1st day of each month. A direct debit request will be sent via email and text message for you to complete within 48hrs of receiving the link or the link will expire.

5.2 The direct debit request will be sent within 7 days of receiving your Membership Registration Form.  

5.3 Auto-billing fees: A flat rate charge of $0.88 applies for bank direct debits and $0.88 + 1.87% for Visa and Mastercards. You are also liable for failed or dishonoured payment charges. 

5.4 International Members: All Members outside of Australia must select the credit card option, either Visa or Mastercard. 

6. Failed payments 

6.1 If a direct debit payment fails you will receive an email notification to ensure your card details are correct, and/or to ensure you have sufficient funds in your account or credit card for a re-debit, which will occur 3 days later.

6.2 If the re-debit fails, your membership will be cancelled and you will no longer be eligible for the special offer price unless you pay the full price of $249 per month for three consecutive months, then you can continue on the $99 plan thereafter.

7. Membership Access 

Commencement of the Membership occurs when the first payment is made. You will receive access to all the platforms involved in the Membership and be given access passwords.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

8.1 When funds are debited they are non-refundable or transferable.

8.2 If you do not attend or utilise your membership, your membership will be deemed abandoned by you and therefore you will not be entitled to a refund of any money paid or other claim to any further compensation.

8.3 All requests for cancellations of membership must be made in writing 3 working days prior to the agreed direct debit date (1st of the month) to [email protected]. Failure to provide 3 days notice may result in a non-refundable direct debit payment for the month after you requested to cancel your membership. In this case, the membership will be officially cancelled the following month.   

8.4 Messages for cancellation sent via Instagram, Facebook, Facebook messenger or any other type of communication platform will not be accepted as cancellation notice.

8.5 You may cancel at any time and continue to have access to the Integration Sessions, Facebook Group and Google Drive until the last day of the month you have paid for. You will not have access to 1:1 Sessions from the time you cancel. 1:1 Sessions booked in advance may be cancelled by Chris Knight. 

9. Holiday breaks 

9.1 You will be notified in advance of holiday breaks that will affect the weekly LIVE Integration Sessions. You will not be charged during break periods (direct debits will be paused). 

9.2 In the case of sickness or injury, Chris Knight reserves the right to get a replacement instructor/teacher to deliver the LIVE Integration Session/s. Members will be notified as soon as practicable via email. Chris Knight shall have no further liability in respect of the cancellation.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 You agree to limit any claim on Chris Knight to the cost of the products or services purchased. This includes any loss or damage suffered by you in relation to the Membership.

10.2 You understand and agree that the Membership is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Your registration affirms that a licensed physician has verified your physical, emotional and mental health is suitable to participate in the Membership if required. In addition, you will notify Chris Knight of any medical conditions or physical, emotional or mental limitations before registering.

10.3 You understand and agree that any advice provided is not a substitute for professional advice and therefore you take full responsibility for the consequence of any action you take on the advice you have been given.

11. Complaints or Grievance

11.1 Chris Knight is committed to delivering high quality services and offers customer feedback forms as means of monitoring and improving service delivery effectiveness and satisfaction. 

11.2 If you have a complaint, Chris Knight is committed to ensuring that all complaints are managed in a responsive, efficient, effective and fair manner. Complainants will be treated with respect and will receive a professional level of service throughout the complaint management process.

11.3 If a response to a complaint is not meeting your satisfaction, Chris Knight will engage an external mediator to support the process. You will be given the opportunity to choose an external mediator.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

12.1 You agree that you will not distribute or transmit to another person your Membership details. You agree that if you break these commitments, you will be subject to possible prosecution and be removed from all future Membership offerings without a refund.

12.2 All concepts, information and materials delivered (the “Materials”) are the property of Chris Knight. Chris Knight shall have sole title and ownership of all Intellectual Property Rights in the Materials or Recordings created in the provision of any of its services. Whereby, “Intellectual Property Rights” means patents, trademarks, copyrights, database rights, design rights, applications for registration of any of the foregoing and all rights of like nature arising or subsisting whether registered or unregistered.

12.3 In delivering this Membership, you agree not to transfer title of any intellectual property.

12.4 You acknowledge and agree that you have no right to modify, edit, alter or enhance any of the Materials in any manner. Furthermore, you will not pass off the content, concepts or information in the Materials as your own.

13. Communication Services

13.1 Membership platforms contain areas for comments, messages, discussion, live Zoom sessions and/or other communication facilities designed to enable you to communicate with the group at large as well as the facilitators (collectively, ‘Communication Services’).

13.2 The opinions expressed through the Communication Services are solely the opinions of the participant and do not reflect the opinions of Chris Knight.

13.3 Chris Knight has no obligation to monitor any of the comments or postings made by participants on the Membership platforms. However, you acknowledge and agree that he has the absolute right to monitor the same at his sole discretion.  

13.4 In addition, Chris Knight reserves the right to alter, edit, refuse to post or remove any postings or content, in whole or in part, for any reason and to disclose such materials and the circumstances surrounding their transmission to any third party in order to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request and to protect ourselves, and our clients.

13.5 You agree to use the Communication Services only to post, send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular Communication Service. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree that when using a Communication Service, you will not: defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others; publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information; upload files that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy of publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents; upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another’s computer; advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose, unless such Communication Service specifically allows such messages; conduct or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters; download any file posted by another user of a Communication Service that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner; falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded, restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Communication Services; violate any code of conduct or other guidelines which may be applicable for any particular Communication Service; harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent; violate any applicable laws or regulations.

13.6 Always use caution when giving out any personally identifying information about yourself in any Communication Service. Chris Knight does not control or endorse the content, messages or information found in any Communication Service and, therefore, Chris Knight specifically disclaims any liability with regard to the Communication Services and any actions resulting from your participation in any Communication Service.

13.7 You agree to receive emails from Chris Knight related to Self Intelligence and other associated services.

14. 1:1 Sessions

14.1 Application: Members must have a minimum of 2 consecutive months of membership to be eligible to apply for a 1:1 Session, and agree to the additional terms and conditions on the agreement form.

14.2 Frequency: Members can submit one application per month for 1:1 Sessions and are eligible for twelve sessions per year (subject to availability, see 14.3).

14.3 Availability: One 1:1 Session is available each week. Therefore, Members are not guaranteed a 1:1 Session each month as part of the Membership. Priority will be given to those Members who haven't had a 1:1 Session that month. Members are not eligible for a transfer of the financial value of a 1:1 Session for membership purposes, nor are they eligible for a refund under any circumstances if they do not receive a 1:1 Session after submitting an application.

14.4 Cancellation: At least 12 hours notice is required for cancelling a 1:1 Session. If you don't provide notice, you risk not being eligible for 1:1 Sessions as part of your membership.

15.  Consent and Release

15.1 As a Member of the Self Intelligence Community, you may choose to participate in recorded Integration Sessions and recorded 1:1 Sessions. These recordings may include information about you, such as your name, visual images of you, and information you choose to share in the context of the Integrations Session and/or 1:1 Sessions.

15.2 By enrolling in the Self Intelligence Community, you consent to have any and all information you display during a recorded Integration Session or in a 1:1 Session to be shared with students who have enrolled in Self Intelligence Courses. No other information will be shared.

15.3 By enrolling in the Self Intelligence Community, you consent to have your face displayed in video excerpts from Integration Sessions for the purpose of marketing. These excerpts will be displayed on any marketing platform Chris Knight chooses. You may turn your video off during Integration Sessions if you prefer not to have your face displayed on video experts. Any private information you vocally share during an Integration Session will not be included in video excerpts unless you give permission via email to Chris Knight.

16. Changes to terms and conditions

Chris Knight reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms & Conditions under which the Membership is offered. The most current version of the Terms & Conditions will supersede all previous versions. Chris Knight encourages you to periodically review the Terms & Conditions to stay informed of updates.
